William D. Flemming

William D. Flemming, 80, St. Louis, Mo., died Sunday, Dec. 19, 2010, after a long battle with Alzheimer's disease at St. Anthony's Medical Center in St. Louis.

He grew up in Nevada and graduated from Nevada High School in 1948.

Mr. Flemming is survived by his wife of 62 years, Lola (Watson) Flemming; a daughter, Linda Frink and her husband, Dennis, and their family of St. Louis, Mo.; one son, Bill D. Flemming and his wife, Irene, and their family of Madero, Calif.; a daughter, Loris Prier and her husband, Dan, and their family of Raytown, Mo.; two sisters, Nadine Roush of Kansas City, Mo., and Judith Rundell of Topeka, Kan., and their families. Preceding him in death was a son, James Thomas Flemming, and a sister, Mary Virginia Willis.

Mr. Flemming worked for Sears, Roebuck and Company from 1948-1998 throughout the Midwest.

Graveside services are planned in Nevada, on Monday, Dec. 27, at 1 p.m. at Moore Cemetery in Nevada, with arrangements under the direction of Ferry Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests a donation to the Alzheimer's Association c/o Ferry Funeral Home, 301 S. Washington, Nevada.
