Leah Rae (Bloesser) Stubblefield

Leah Rae (Bloesser) Stubblefield, loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, of Houston, Texas, passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 28, 2010 in Dallas, Texas, at 66 years of age. She loved life, travel and vacation, and most of all to spend time with her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, C.J. (Charles James) and Nellie I. Bloesser and sister, Glenda Mae Bloesser.

She is survived by her brothers, Alva (Charles) and Henry; sisters Lorraine, Dorothy, Connie and Carol; daughters, Royanna Chappell and Raela Bedford; son, Lyndall Stubblefield; and their spouses' Jamie Chappell, Michael Bedford and Karen Stubblefield; along with nine grandchildren, Austin Chappell, Aryanna Chappell, Arissa Chappell, Collin Bedford, Cameron Bedford, Kristen McGinn, Chase Havens, Kendall Stubblefield and Kinsey Stubblefield; two great grandchildren, Madison McGinn and Abigail McGinn; and several nieces and nephews.

She dearly loved her entire family and all of her close friends. She was and always will be our greatest cheerleader! She was so loved and will be genuinely missed by all who knew her.

Funeral Services to be conducted at Konantz-Cheney Funeral Home, 15 W. Wall Street, Fort Scott, Kan., on Monday, Jan. 3, at 10:30 a.m., and graveside at East Liberty Cemetery immediately following. The family will be available to receive visitors Sunday, Jan. 2, from 6:30-8 p.m.
