Ella Mae V. "Nannie" Grant, 84, Fort Scott, Kan., died Thursday, Jan. 13, 2011, at her home. She was born April 19, 1926, at Clinton, Mo., the daughter of Henry Leroy Lindsay and Adell Johnson Lindsay. She married Orville Washington Grant on Dec. 8, 1945, at Warrensburg, Mo. He preceded her in death on Feb. 17, 1983. She worked for 35 years at Campbell's Laundry and later retired from Peerless Products. She was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene as well as the American Legion Auxiliary, the Athenium Study Club and the 21 Club.

Survivors include three sons, Charles Albert Lindsay, Tulsa, Okla., Rueben Eugene Grant, Pleasanton, Kan., and William Maurice Graham Jr., Joplin, Mo.; four daughters, Wanda Lee Savage, Willa Mae Wilson and Rhoda Al-Khalaf, all of Fort Scott, Kan., and Lavonne G. Bonds, Oklahoma City, Okla.; 37 grandchildren; 72 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by two daughters, Mary Elizabeth and an infant; two sons, Orville Grant Jr. and Eli Leonard Graham; two brothers, Chester Hall and Charles Lee Hall Sr.; two sisters, Bernice Powell and Mary Delores Willard; and three grandchildren, William Louis Adams Jr., Rainbow Ryder Lindsay and Quindale Floyd.

The Rev. Scott Moore will conduct funeral services at 1 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 18, at the First Church of the Nazarene. Burial will follow in the U.S. National Cemetery.
