Paul Laemmli - Cassandra J. Embry

Whendi and Bill Martin and John Embry, all of Fort Scott, Kan., and Debbie and Jim Laemmli, of Laurie, Mo., announce the engagement of their children, Cassandra Jane (Cassie) Embry and Paul Laemmli.

Cassie graduated from Fort Scott High School in 2004, and Pittsburg State University in 2008, with a Bachelor of Science in Recreation with an emphasis in Community, Corporate and Hospital Wellness. She is employed by Community America Credit Union in Lenexa, Kan., as the employee wellness coordinator.

Paul graduated from Oak Grove High School in 2004, and the University of Central Missouri, Warrensburg, in December 2007, with a Bachelor of Science in Music Technology. He is employed by the United Methodist Church of the Resurrection as a technical worship producer at the Blue Springs and Downtown Kansas City, Mo., campuses of the church.

A May 7, 2011, wedding is planned at Casa De Loco Winery in Camdenton, Mo.
