February 16

10:31 a.m.: An accident occurred at Washington and Walnut streets involving a pickup driven by Paul E. Adams, Greenfield, Mo., and an SUV driven by Stacy A. Hamilton, Stockton, Mo. No injuries were reported.

7:30 p.m.: An accident occurred in the YMCA parking lot involving a pickup driven by Glory D. Reichard, Nevada, and a car owned by Brianne C. Albright, Nevada. No injuries were reported.

February 17

Leroy Beshores, Nevada, reported a petty theft in the 700 block of West Garfield Street. Item stolen was a gray locked box with miscellaneous contents.

February 18

6:05 p.m.: An accident occurred at West and Hickory streets involving a car driven by Deanna M. Puckett, Deerfield, and a car owned by Jeff J. Weeks, Nevada. No injuries were reported.

2:30 p.m.: An accident occurred at US 54 Highway and Business 71 Highway involving a car driven by Carol J. Chadd, El Dorado Springs, Mo., and a pickup driven by Everett L. Backer, Butler, Mo. No injuries were reported.

February 19

1:35 p.m.: An accident occurred at Gammons Carwash involving a car owned by James W. Ramage, Rich Hill, Mo., and a van driven by Julie Nikodim, Moundville, Mo. No injuries were reported.

February 21

12 p.m.: An accident occurred in the high school parking lot involving an unknown vehicle and a car owned by Austin Greer, Nevada. Accident is still under investigation.

February 22

8:34 p.m.: An accident occurred on Route W and Ashland Street involving a car driven by Joel A. Newman, Nevada, and a van driven by Jodie R. Eldridge, Nevada. Robin J. Purkey, Nevada, a passenger in the Newman vehicle, received probable and not apparent injuries.

Matthew Day, Nevada, reported a second degree burglary in the 700 block of South Cedar Street. Items stolen were: A Playstation 3 game console, 30 miscellaneous Playstation 3 games, one portable Playstation and one gas powered remote control car.
