Beverly F. Pryor

Beverly F. Pryor, 74, Nevada, passed away on Sunday, Sept. 11, 2011, at Nevada Regional Medical Center in Nevada, following a lengthy illness. She was born May 7, 1937, in Sheldon, Mo., to Charlie Edward Crump and Alice Marie Gonterman Crump. She married James Edward Pryor on Aug. 8, 1953, in Nevada, and he preceded her in death on March 27, 2006.

Beverly was raised in Sheldon and later attended Nevada High School. She lived her whole adult life in Nevada. She was a homemaker and loved her family.

Survivors include six children, Jim Pryor and his wife, Becky, Linn Valley, Kan., Susie Pritchett and her husband, Randy, Nevada, Steve Pryor, Nevada, Tracy Pryor, Nevada, Doug Pryor and his wife, Brenda, Hallsville, Mo., and Greg Pryor and his wife, Tina, Nevada; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; two sisters, Marilyn McKinney, Panama City Beach, Fla., and Debbie Snyder, Lowry City, Mo.; two brothers, Larry Crump, Phoenix, Ariz., and Charles Crump, Clinton, Mo.; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband; one daughter, Karen Rae Pryor; and one grandson, Eric Pryor. She taught her family to love one another and was a best friend to all her children and grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 14, 2011, at Ferry Funeral Home with the Rev. Terry Mosher officiating. Interment will follow in Moore Cemetery, Nevada. Friends may call now and until the hour of service and the family receives friends from 7-8 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 13, 2011, at the funeral home.
