Sept. 1

10:19 a.m.: An accident occurred at Business 71 and U.S. 54 highways involving a van driven by Marlo M. Stansill, Sheldon, Mo., and an SUV driven by Linda C. Daniels, Nevada. No injuries were reported.

Sept. 2

12:03 p.m.: An accident occurred at 2250 E. Lincoln Avenue involving a car driven by Lynn D. Sheridan, Sheldon, Mo., and a car owned by Richard A. Lapinski, Westfield, Ind. No injuries were reported.

Sept. 3

11:21 a.m.: An accident occurred at Washington and Atlantic streets involving an SUV driven by Alton A. Moray, Prairie Village, Kan., and a car driven by Stephanie J. Stone, Nevada. No injuries were reported.

Delbert Volkman, Nevada, reported a petty theft in the 300 block of North Elizabeth Street. Items stolen were two Marine batteries.

Thomas Taylor, Nevada, reported a petty theft from a motor vehicle in the 900 block of North Main Street. Item stolen was a Craftsman tools case with tools.

Sept. 6

8 a.m.: An accident occurred at Allison and Washington streets involving a pickup driven by Kenneth D. Zeagler, Nevada, and a pickup owned by James McKenzie, Nevada. No injuries were reported.
