Ora E. Myers, 104, Nevada, died Tuesday, Jan. 24, 2012, at Christian Health Care in Nevada, following a lengthy illness. She was born June 30, 1907, in Adrian, Mo., to Robert Lee Duke and Martha Ann Haggard Duke. She was first married to Harry Stark and later to Raymond Myers and both spouses preceded her in death.

Mrs. Myers lived in Kansas City, Mo., for 33 years of her adult life, moving back to Nevada in 1985, and living the remainder of her life here.

Survivors include one son, Don Stark and his wife, Pat, Nevada; three grandchildren, Donna Allen and her husband, Terry, Rowlett, Texas, Dan Stark and his wife, Judy, Nevada, and Dave Stark, Moundville, Mo.; six great-grandchildren, Tracy Lee, Tod Allen, Jodanna Simon, Anna Stark, Mandy Stark and Derek Stark; and seven great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to both spouses, she was preceded in death by one brother, Claude Duke; three sisters, Thelma Post, Ruby Porter and Maude Flake; and many nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held at 1:30 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 28, at Moore Cemetery in Nevada with Dr. William Cox officiating.

Friends may call now and until 1 p.m., Saturday, at Ferry Funeral Home, Nevada, and the family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, Jan. 27, between 6 and 7 p.m.
