Survivors include two brothers, Robert Lightwine and wife, Esther, of Emory, Texas, and Harold Lightwine and wife, Evelyn, Chanute, Kan. Also surviving are four nephews, Leslie Lightwine, Howard Lightwine, Anthony Lightwine and Michael Lightwine; two nieces, Kelli Collins and Pam Hightower; 14 great-nieces and nephews; two great-great-nieces; and a great-great-nephew. She was preceded in death by a brother, Howard Lightwine.
The Rev. Chuck Russell will conduct graveside services at 11 a.m., Monday, March 5, at the U.S. National Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday from 10 a.m. until leaving for the cemetery at 10:45 a.m., at the Cheney Witt Chapel. Memorials are suggested to the Sharing Bucket and may be left in care of the Cheney Witt Chapel, 201 S. Main, P.O. Box 347, Fort Scott, KS 66701.
