Robert and Connie Palmer -- 50 years

The children of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Palmer will host their parents' 50th anniversary on Feb. 26, 2012, from 1-4 p.m., at the United Methodist Church basement, Nevada, Mo.

They were married in Northeast Kansas City in the Parsonage of the Assumption by Monsignor Ahern on Feb. 26, 1962.

In 50 years they have nine children, 20 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, eight stepgrandchildren, and two stepgreat-grandchildren.

Family will be serving soups, sandwiches and cake.

No gifts, the family requests only fellowship of friends and family.
