Cynthia Lea "Cindy" Clark

Cynthia Lea "Cindy" Clark, 49, Piqua, Kan., formerly of Nevada, passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 16, 2012, at Windsor Place, Iola, Kan., following an illness of several months. She was born May 13, 1963, in Kansas City, Kan., to Gale Archie Mullins and Mildred Elaine Butterfield Mullins. She married Raymond Clark on June 21, 1986, in Nevada, and he preceded her in death on Oct. 3, 2010.

Cindy was born and raised in Kansas City, Kan., until the age of four when she moved to Vernon County. She attended school and spent all of her life here until her marriage in 1986, when she moved to Kansas. She attended the First Faith Assembly of God in Humboldt, Kan. Cindy was primarily a homemaker and mother. She loved her family very much and enjoyed motorcycling with her husband, camping with her family, and also gardening and yard work. She also enjoyed doing different kinds of crafts.

Survivors include three sons, Ray J. Clark, Troupe, Texas, Rodney Clark, Piqua, Kan., and Elijah Clark, Iola, Kan.; one daughter, Chrestos Clark, Piqua, Kan.; one stepson, Kody Ekis, Girard, Kan.; one grandson, Jonavin Clark, state of Massachusetts; her mother, Elaine Mullins, Piqua, Kan.; one half-brother, Kenny Mullins, Branson, Mo.; one sister, Pam Bennett, Iola, Kan.; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her father; husband; and one sister, Jan Chadd.

A memorial service will be held at the First Faith Assembly of God in Humboldt, Kan., at 11 a.m., Friday, Oct.. 19, with the Rev. Shirley Fisher officiating.

A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m., Monday, Oct. 22, at the First Christian Church Fellowship Building, Nevada, with the Rev. David Rorabaugh officiating. Friends may call now and until 9 a.m., Monday, at Ferry Funeral Home, Nevada.
