Police Reports Nov. 4-Nov. 8
There was a report of a theft in the 800 block of South Adams Street. A purse was reported stolen overnight from a secured vehicle by forced entry while parked in a parking lot.
8:51 p.m.: An accident occurred at Washington and Floral streets involving a pickup driven by Dakota R. Chadd, Nevada, and a car owned by Allie Louvier, Nevada.
6:10 p.m.: A one-vehicle accident occurred at U.S. 54 and Business 71 highways when an SUV driven by Helen L. Wood, Walker, Mo., hit a deer. No injuries were reported.
3:59 p.m.: An accident occurred at 2250 E. Lincoln Blvd., involving a car driven by Chelsey J. Johnson, Nevada, and a car driven by Allen L. Foulk, El Dorado Springs, Mo. Holly Foulk, a passenger in the Foulk vehicle, reported minor injuries.
6:18 p.m.: A one-vehicle accident occurred when a truck driven by Matthew J. Dewey, Nevada, struck a concrete post. Dewey reported minor injuries.
4:48 p.m.: An accident occurred at U.S. 54 Highway and Main Street involving an unknown vehicle and a pickup driven by Royce W. Miller, Fort Scott, Kan. No injuries were reported. The other driver left the scene.
4:52 p.m.: An accident occurred at U.S. 71 Highway and Highland Avenue when a semi truck crossed into the lane of an SUV driven by Jenna D. Snead, Nevada. Minor injuries were reported. The semi driver left the scene.
There was a report of property damage in the 100 block of West Austin Boulevard. A red Chevrolet Cavalier was damaged by unknown persons who scratched the driver side paint while the vehicle was parked overnight.
There was a report of a theft in the 1000 block of South Clay Street. A purse was stolen overnight from a parked pickup left unsecured while parked in the driveway.
