Antony "Tony" Conrad Kane

Antony "Tony" Conrad Kane, 48, Nevada, passed away on Monday, Nov. 19, 2012, at his home in Nevada, following a lengthy illness. He was born on April 12, 1964, in Kansas City, Mo., to Conrad Corneilius Kane and Peggy Ilene Buck. He married Jodean Kay Bunce on Aug. 18, 2012, in Nevada, and she survives of the home.

Tony was born and raised in Kansas City, Mo., and attended Shawnee Mission East High School. He came to Nevada in 2009 and lived the remainder of his life here. He worked in construction in many locales including Dallas, Texas, Las Vegas, Nev., and Okabena, Minn. Tony was a member of the Church of The Nazarene. He was an outdoorsman and loved hunting and fishing.

In addition to his wife, Jodean, survivors include his mother, Peggy Bigler and her husband, Richard, Granbury, Texas; two sons, Heath Allen Kane, Sioux Falls, S.D., and Kendall Richard Kane, Okabena, Minn.; one daughter, Whisper Rene Kane, Lebanon, Mo.; three stepchildren, Kaitee Marie Bunce, Springfield, Mo., and Jason Lee Bunce and Johnathan Curtis Bunce, both of the home; one brother, Daniel Charles Dame, Lebanon, Mo.; three sisters, Diana Rogers, Lebanon, Mo., Deborah Morgan, Camdenton, Mo., and Andrea Denise Inscoe, Shawnee Mission, Kan.; two stepbrothers, Richard Thadd Bigler, Benningon, Kan., and Michael Todd Bigler, Salina, Kan.; one stepsister, Ti Anne Pettijohn, Dallas, Texas; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 21, at the Church of The Nazarene, Nevada, with the Rev. Mike Satterlee officiating.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Ferry Funeral Home, Nevada.
