There is hope, if ...

Dear Editor:

Are the lawmakers for the people who elected them -- or -- those who govern them?

I was glad to hear that some action was taken in Michigan to put guns in schools and daycare centers, etc., but alas, their governor doesn't seem to care about saving our children, teachers, etc. Maybe they should veto him.

I hope the lawmakers in Missouri have the backbone to stand against their opposition, quit tabling and postponing, and get something done -- "soon." I understand there are schools in Texas that are serious about protecting their children, and have responsible gun carriers in schools. We need to take action that can help save our children and their caretakers!
