The Clinton High School DECA, FBLA, FFA and SkillsUSA programs are sponsoring a food drive to benefit the Statewide Show-Me Hunger Project.

During the Clinton High School basketball tournament, non-perishable food items will be collected, as well as cash donations. A box and donation jar will be set up for each individual school.

Spectators and fans will be greeted by a member of DECA, FBLA, FCCLA, FFA or SkillsUSA upon arrival at the tournament. Greeters will assist with donations if necessary or answer any questions.

As an added bonus, anyone who donates five or more items will receive a coupon for a bag of "Famous Popcorn" from the concession stand. Each school's donations will be counted and tallied and on the last night of the tournament, Saturday, Jan. 26, the winning school will be announced and they will receive a framed certificate.

More information on the Show-Me Hunger Project is available at the project's Web site, www.show-mehunger.org. It is a statewide project in which all CTSO's are working together to raise money, food, and awareness of the food needs in Missouri.
