Nina B. Spencer

Nina B. Spencer, 89, a former Nevada resident, passed away Sunday July 28, 2013, at the New Mexico State Veteran's Home in Truth or Consequences, N.M.

Nina will be laid to rest at Fort Bayard National Cemetery in Fort Bayard next to her husband, Oris Spencer.

She was born Nov. 1, 1923, in Pleasanton, Kan., to Mable (Potter) and Charles Ward. Nina worked as a secretary. She had many hobbies which included sewing, decorating T-shirts and many additional kinds of crafts.

She is survived by her two daughters, Patricia Griffith of Springfield, Mo., and Nancy Crain of Richmond, Va.; a brother, Charles Ward of Indianapolis, Ind.; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
