Linda Gail Milligan, 68, of Lamar, died Monday, Aug. 5, 2013, at Mercy-McCune Brooks Hospital in Carthage, Mo.

Linda was born Aug. 24, 1944, to Edward Bise and Juanita Bise Adams at Topeka, Kan. On Jan. 19, 1970, she married Lawrence Ray Milligan. She had worked as a CNA and a Med Tech most recently at Bristol Manor Residential Care in Lamar and Barton County Memorial Hospital. On Nov. 14, 1999, she was baptized at Lamar First Christian Church. She was a volunteer for Relay for Life, and volunteered in the office at the First Christian Church. Linda loved to listen to Ninth Hour Gospel Quartet, followed car racing and football, but her number one interest was her grandchildren.

Linda is survived by her husband, Lawrence; three sons, Karl Linn Lehman, Nevada, Robert Dale Lehmann, Nevada, and Dustin DShane Milligan of Webb City, Mo.; one stepdaughter, Carrie Sue and Roy Myers, of Jerico Springs, Mo.; three brothers, Bobby and Debbie Adams, Nevada, Barry and Joyce Bise, Butler, Mo., and Randy and Lynn Bise, Blue Springs, Mo.; two sisters, Terri and Danny McDaniel of Kokomo, Ind., and Wendy Neider, Rich Hill, Mo.; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Preceding her in death were her parents; a son, Darrel Dean Lehmann; a brother, Dale Lee Adams; and a sister, Sandy Boyles.

Funeral service will be 10 a.m., Thursday, Aug. 8, at Lamar First Christian Church with Mike Gage officiating. Burial will follow at Olive Branch Cemetery.

Visitation will be 6 to 7 p.m., Wednesday, Aug. 7, at Daniel Funeral Home.
