Brandan Allan Evans, 18, of Bronaugh, Mo., passed away early Sunday, Sept. 1, 2013, in Joplin, Mo., as the result of a motor vehicle accident near Nevada. He was born on Dec. 22, 1994, in Nevada, to Davie and Katie (Krouch) Evans.

Brandan was raised in Bronaugh and was a member of the graduating class from Bronaugh High School in 2013. Brandon had worked for the Subway Restaurant in Nevada throughout high school and recently as a college temp. at 3M in Nevada this past summer.

Brandan was currently working as general contract laborer for various local carpenters. He was an active member of FFA throughout high school. Brandan loved hunting, fishing, riding four-wheelers, and spending time with his family and friends.

Survivors include his parents, Davie and Katie Evans of the home; three brothers, Christopher, Bradley, and Adam of the home; his two week old son, Jace Lane Gray-Evans of Bronaugh; his grandparents, Jim and Sue Krouch, Cheyenne, Wyo., and Charles Evans of Bronaugh; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, Sept. 5, at Ferry Funeral Home in Nevada with the Rev. Dan Dickey officiating. Interment will be held at Bluff Cemetery in Barton County, Mo.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m., Wednesday, at Ferry Funeral Home in Nevada.

Contributions may be made to a college scholarship fund for his son, Jace, in care of Ferry Funeral Home 301 S. Washington, Nevada.
