Lee Robert Wilson, 24, Nevada, Mo., passed away Monday, Oct. 21, 2013, at the Nevada Regional Medical Center, Nevada. He was born Feb. 12, 1989, in Nevada, to Larry Gene Wilson and Sara Jean (Simpson) Turley.

Lee was a lifelong resident of Nevada. He attended Nevada High School where he graduated in 2007. While in high school he kept active playing football. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his friends and family.

Survivors include his mother, Sara Turley, Osage Beach, Mo.; his father, Larry Wilson, Nevada, and his stepfather, Shannan Turley, Nevada; two brothers, Lance Wilson, Springfield, Mo., and Landon Wilson, Nevada; grandparents, Billie Simpson, Nevada, and the late Floyd Simpson, Jeannie and Presley Evans, Rich Hill, Larry Ray Wilson and Sandy Wilson, Nevada; great-grandfather, Clyde Hawks, Rich Hill, several aunts, uncles, and cousins. He is preceded in death by his great-grandmothers, Bertha Wallace and Norma Jean Hawks.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Oct. 25, at the First Christian Church, Nevada, with the Rev. David Rorabaugh officiating. Interment will be in Moore Cemetery, Nevada. Visitation will be held Thursday from 6-8 p.m. Friends may call now and until 8 p.m. Thursday at Ferry Funeral Home, Nevada.
