Police receive arrest warrant on stealing suspect

Nevada Police report that they received a Felony Warrant for theft against a suspect arrested for stealing from a vendor tent during the 2014 Nevada Bushwhacker Days.

The suspect was initially spotted by night time security personnel who contacted Nevada Police. Night Watch Officers responded to the scene and located the suspect in the act of stealing souvenir items such as cigarette lighters, hats and sunglasses. The property was recovered and later returned to the owner. The suspect was arrested and conveyed to the Vernon County Jail.

That 20 year old suspect is identified as:

Clarence T. Stevens

A Felony Warrant has been issued by the Vernon County Associate Circuit Court for Felony Stealing. Bond was set at $5,000 cash or surety bond.
