Kevin Jacobs

Kevin Jacobs, 24 years old, of Denison, Iowa, and formerly of Milan, Mo., passed away, Saturday, Aug. 30, 2014, at University Hospital in Columbia, Mo. He became an organ donor, and saving the lives' of others.

Kevin was born on July 3, 1990, in Nevada, Mo. He is survived by his fiancé, Kaycee Trevino, of the home; his daughter, Keylee Jacobs, of the home; his parents, Toni and Eldo Eaglen, of Milan, Mo., and Stewart and Kerrie Jacobs, of Butler, Mo.; four siblings, Bodie Eaglen, of Milan, Catherine Eaglen, of Milan, Kyler Jacobs, of Butler, and Kale Jacobs, of Butler; father-in-law to be, Carlos Trevino Sr., of Denison, Iowa; mother-in-law to be, Renee Coltrain, of Newtown, Mo.; grandparents, Cheryl Eaglen, of Harris, Mo., Jim and Donna Fritts, of Butler, Florence Fritts, of Nevada, and Steve and Jessie Jacobs, of Nevada; brother-in-laws to be, Carlos Trevino Jr. and Tony Trevino and Lindsey, all of Iowa; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Debbie Fleener, Butch Eaglen, Clark and Nell Covington, Jess Rite Fritts, and Jesse and Zelpha Culbertson, Glen Gragg, Fannie Gragg, and Ilene Jacobs: and a cousin, Hanna Segal.

Kevin graduated from Milan C-II High School in 2009. He has also lived in Nevada, Mo., Unionville, Mo., and Corydon, Iowa, and currently resided in Denison for the past 2 and 1/2 years. He was presently employed at IBP in Denison. Kevin enjoyed dirt track racing, riding four wheelers, fishing, and playing pool. He was a big football fan, and a big movie buff. Kevin most loved the time he spent with family and friends, and being with his daughter.

A graveside service for Kevin will be held at 11 a.m., today, Sept. 5, at Lonesome Pine Cemetery. A visitation was scheduled from 7 to 9 p.m., Thursday, at Schoene-Ruschmeier Funeral Home in Milan.
