Katherine D. Saxon -- Dr. Thomas W. Lovinger

Dr. Keith G. Saxon, of Kansas City, and Ms. Mary Dugan, of Liberty, Mo., announce the engagement of their daughter, Katherine D. Saxon, Liberty, Mo., to Dr. Thomas W. Lovinger of Kansas City, son of Dr. and Mrs. Warren Lovinger Jr., of Nevada, Mo.

Kate is a 2003 graduate of Liberty High School and received her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree in 2007 from University of Missouri- Columbia. She is currently a third year dental student at University of Missouri- Kansas City School of Dentistry.

Tom is a 2002 graduate of Nevada High School and received his undergraduate and Doctor of Medicine from the University of Missouri- Kansas City, in 2010. He currently practices family medicine in Lee's Summit, Mo., at St. Luke's East.

The couple plan to be married on May 9, 2015, at the Old Mission United Methodist Church, Fairway, with reception to follow at the President Hotel, Kansas City. They will be residing in Kansas City.
