Jerry Ann Walker Moore, 72, of Nevada passed away from this life on Monday, June 15, 2015, in Moore-Few Care Center, in Nevada. She was born Feb. 28, 1943, in Kansas City, Mo., the daughter of Chester Hayden and Ruby Florence (Martin) Walker.

Jerry married Ronald Jay Moore on Feb. 15, 1975, in Nevada. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who enjoyed fishing, loving her dogs, making crafts, sewing and crocheting.

Jerry received a bachelor of science registered nursing degree from University of Central Missouri in 1986 and began employment at the State Hospital in Nevada. She later moved to Texas and began working for Vista Care Hospice in Corpus Christi where she continued to work for a number of years until her retirement. Jerry was a member of the Riverside Cowboy Church, Eastern Star No. 53 in Nevada, and the National Nursing Association.

Those who survive to mourn her passing include her husband, Ronald of the home; sons, Jerry Douglas Brewer Jr., Norwalk, Iowa, Christopher Moore, Oceanside, Calif., James Moore, and Robbie Moore; daughters, Judi Brewer, Kansas City, Mo., and Sissy Logston, all of Hamilton, Mo.; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, extended family and friends.

A graveside memorial service for Jerry Ann Moore will be held at the Milo Cemetery in Milo, Mo., Friday, June 19, at 10 a.m., with Pastor Roger Beach officiating. Following the memorial service a dinner for family and friends will be held at Marmaduke Park, Nevada.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Shriners Hospital in care of Ferry Funeral Home, Nevada.
