Larry (Ronnie) Ames

It's with much love we remember and honor the life of our husband, father, brother and Paw Paw Larry (Ronnie) Ames, 80, born July 21, 1935, in Kirksville, to Lyman and Golda Ames, and passed away on April 2, 2016.

He is survived by sisters, Joyce Newby and Angela Hollenberg; and brother Paul Ames.

He leaves his cherished wife, Beverly, of 56 years with wonderful memories; and sons, Brent (Cara) and Eric (Amy); and grandchildren, Alexandra, Logan, Sophia, and Connor.

His personality shines through in his love of art expressed in his paintings and cartoons with a sense of humor that never failed to make us laugh.

A private memorial is planned for family and close friends.
