Lady Tigers crush competition at home swim meet

The Nevada Lady Tiger swim team dazzled in the pool Tuesday evening at its home-quad (meet) held at the Osage Prairie YMCA.

Nevada hosted Carthage, Monett and Harrisonville, besting all three by wide margins. The Lady Tigers defeated Harrisonville 120-38; Carthage 114-56; and Monett 106-58.

Winning individual gold medals for the Lady Tigers, were: Paige Webb in the 200-yard freestyle, with a time of 2:20.53, and the 500-yard freestyle (6:25.51); Makayla Haner in the 200-yard Individual Medley (2:35.32); Megan Hold in the 50-yard freestyle (26.96); Carlie McCaffree in the 100-yard freestyle (1:02.78); Peyton Claypool in the 100-yard breaststroke (1:16.88); while the Lady Tigers placed first in the 200-yard Medley and 200-yard freestyle relays.
