Glen Harvey Foster

Glen Harvey Foster, a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend, passed away on May 20. He was born on Oct. 31, 1938, in Montrose, Colo., and graduated from Russell High School in Russell, Kan. In 1960, he met Mary Darlene Moore at a dance in Nevada, and they were married in 1961. They were blessed with four sons.

In 1974, they left Missouri and moved to Hamilton, Mont. Then in 1975, they settled in Absarokee, Mont., where they built a house and he worked for the telephone company until his retirement in 1997. During his time there, he enjoyed the mountains, horseback riding and hunting with family and friends.

Glen and Mary then traveled around the country in their RV enjoying retirement. They wintered in Indio, Calif., with friends and summered in Nevada with family. Eventually buying a house and staying in Nevada. Glen enjoyed golf, tennis and fishing at Truman Lake, Mo., with friends. He spent much of his time helping family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents Harvey Samuel Foster and Lucille Barrett; and his siblings, Gary and Shirley. He is survived by his wife, Mary Foster; their four sons, Don (Debi), Kevin (Debbie), Mike and Allen; his brothers, Ronnie, Larry, Kent; seven grandchildren, Alysha, Joshua, Kaitlyn, Bryton, Creeauna, Sequoia and Addison; and one great-grandchild, Miyla. A special thank you to Dusty and Penny Moore; and cousins, Anna Lee, Marjorie, Morris, Marvin, Joyce and Shirley.

Cremation has taken place and he will be placed in Moore Cemetery in Nevada.
