Dava Pearl Winder

Dava Pearl Winder, age 71 of Butler, died Friday, Aug. 25, in Butler. She was born Dec. 2, 1945, to David Clinton and Anna May Banks Leer in Nevada.

Dava, one of three children, grew up in the Nevada and Metz area of Vernon County. On July 9, 1960, she was united in marriage to Eldon Winder in Stockton and to this union, three children were born. Dava was a homemaker most of her life but did work at Dollar General, Walmart and Medicalodge. Her enjoyments included spending time with her grandchildren and making their favorite foods for them.

Dava is survived by her husband, Eldon Winder, of Butler; two sons, Eldon David Winder and wife, Tammy, of Adrian, Mo., and Clay Winder and Melissa, of Butler; one daughter, Melissa Musick and husband, Rob, of Butler; one brother, Clinton Leer and wife, Robin, of Rich Hill; one sister, Karen Castrogiavonni, of Oklahoma; five grandchildren, Heather Musick Berry and husband, Jason, Brytani Musick Wheeler and husband Hunter, Eldon Lee Winder and wife, Brittany, twins Charles and Sonja Winder; and three great-grandchildren, Bailey, Kierstyn and Makenzie. She was preceded in death by her parents.
