Linda K. Hale, 69, Sheldon, passed from this life on Wednesday, April 25, at her home in Sheldon following a lengthy illness. Linda was born Jan. 18, 1949, in Richmond, Calif., to Lewis Sanford and Joan Louise (Cochran) Cass. On Aug. 4, 1966, she was united in marriage to Larry J. Hale in Lawson, Mo., and he preceded her in death on Oct. 24, 2015.

Linda was born in California but came to Sheldon at a young age with her family. Her family also lived in Lawson, Mo., for a time and she graduated from Springfield Glendale High in 1967. Following high school, she attended Southern Missouri State University and graduated in 1971 with a degree in business. Linda worked alongside Larry in the real estate business for over 40 years and in addition to that they also farmed and raised cattle all of their lives. She was a member of Sheldon Cristian Church, Missouri Cattleman’s Association, Republican Inner Circle and the National Association of Realtors.

Survivors include one son, Dakota Hale, Oronogo, Mo.; two grandchildren, Kyra Hale and Koby Hale; mother, Joan Antle, Nevada; and one brother, Charles Cass, Cape Fair, Mo. In addition to her husband Larry, she was also preceded in death by her father.

Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, April 30, at Sheldon Cemetery in Sheldon with Pastor Roger Beach officiating. The family will receive friends from 3-5 p.m. on Sunday at Ferry Funeral Home in Nevada.

Memorials may be made in her memory to the Sheldon Cemetery Association in care of Ferry Funeral Home in Nevada.
