Virginia Elizabeth Bedore

Virginia Elizabeth Bedore, 84, Nevada, Mo., passed away on Saturday, April 19, 2020, at Nevada Nursing and Rehab. She was born June 22, 1935, in Bates County, Mo., to Arthur L. and Eula M. (Bohrn) Garren. In 1984, she was united in marriage to James Bedore in Raytown, Mo., and he preceded her in death.

Virginia grew up in the Clinton, Mo., area, and also lived for a number of years in Arizona. She came to Nevada in 2009 to be near her daughter, Sharon. Her hobbies included fishing, gardening, her dog Buster, traveling in her motor home, and hiking in the mountains.

She is survived by a daughter, Sharon Denman, Nevada; a son, Kim Wright, Raytown, Mo.; two grandchildren; and one sister, Helen East, Deepwater, Mo. In addition to her husband, James, she was preceded in death by a son, Jessie Cecil; a daughter, Debra Cecil; her sister, Ethel; and two brothers, Art Garren and Billy Garren,

Private committal services will be held at the National Cemetery in Fort Scott, Kan.
