Tanner Russell Bryant

Monday, May 18, 2020

Tanner Russell Bryant, 15, of Nevada, Mo., gained his angel wings on Saturday, May 16, 2020. He was born Jan. 27, 2005 in Nevada, Mo.

Tanner was diagnosed very early on with a chromosome 9q deletion, known as Kleefstra Syndrome. He was never able to walk or really, even talk, but he taught all of us what true, unconditional love really was. He was our true Superman. So tough, having been through so much, he always came through with a smile. Tanner is now in the arms of Jesus Christ with no more pain or suffering, perfectly whole and healthy, running and playing in the streets of Heaven.

Tanner is survived by his parents, Tiffany Willers and her companion, Brian Mart, of the home, and Cliff Bryant of El Dorado Springs, Mo.; as well as his sister, Kylie Bryant, also of the home. Other survivors include Tanner’s grandma, Terri Hunt, Sheldon, Mo., grandparents, Steve Bryant (Lisa) El Dorado Springs, grandmother, Carol Thompson Singleton and the late, James Singleton, Azle, Texas, and grandfather, Tom Bryant, Stockton, Mo.; and two of Tanner’s special aunts who helped in the care of Tanner, Heather Davis, Mulberry, Kan., and Shauna Willers Burdick, Sheldon; as well as many extended aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his grandpa, Steve Willers; great-grandparents, Dale and Joyce Willers, Harry and Dorothy Hamilton, and Russell (Junior) and Pauline Bryant; as well as a cousin, Kyron Lee Atchison.

Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday, May 21, at Moore Cemetery in Nevada with Pastor Bill Platt officiating. The family will receive friends from 4 to 7 p.m., Wednesday, May 20, at Ferry Funeral Home in Nevada.

Donations are requested to the Tanner Bryant Family to help in this very difficult time or to the Kleefstra Syndrome Foundation or Autism Speaks Foundation in care of Ferry Funeral Home.

“Keep smiling and fly high Superman”.
