Black Lives Matter

Tuesday, June 2, 2020

I'm writing in support of protests in Nevada supporting Black Lives Matter. Black people continue to lose their lives at an alarming rate in our country, at the hands of racial, social, and economic injustice. As Desmond Tutu said- " If you are neutral in situations of injustice, you have chosen the side of the oppressor."

This isn't about politics or who's side we're on-- we're on the side of humanity and human rights. If you believe in humanity and you believe that everyone deserves and equal opportunity in this country, then you should be out there protesting along side our fellow human beings.
