Vernon County Health Department reports 22 active cases of COVID-19

According to the Vernon County Health Department, the counties total confirmed cases of COVID-19 has risen to 317, with 33 probable cases, as of Tuesday, Oct. 20.

Of this total, 22 are active this includes both confirmed and probable cases. There has been a total of 325 who have recovered from COVID-19 and three deaths in the county. Twenty-five of the total confirmed cases are travel related; 209 are close contacts; and 116 are unknown. Two cases are currently hospitalized. There has been 5,596 negative tests administered in the county.

Last week, the county reported 32 active cases this week's update shows a decline of 10 active cases, with an increase of 33 total cases (confirmed and probable). This is because some of the previous active cases have since recovered.
