Sue Schaal Moeller

Sue Schaal Moeller, age 78, passed away on Monday, Nov. 29, 2021, at Medicalodge in Nevada, Mo. She was born Dec. 11, 1942, in Columbus, Ohio, to Wilbert and Mary (Grube) Schaal. She attended Capital University in Columbus, Ohio, and raised three children.

Sue is survived by her children Laura (Wade) Morrow, Nevada, Mo., Troy (Steffi) Moeller, Bolingbrook, Ill., and Clay (Lisa) Moeller, Carrolton, Mo.; five grandchildren, Amanda (Brian) Harrop, Kansas City, Kan., Lydia Morrow, Nevada, Mo., Chris Rice, Carrolton, Mo., Sadie (William) Keck, Carrolton, Mo., and Ileigha (Jacob) Windsor, Carrolton, Mo.; four great-grandchildren, Layla Belle Holton, Kansas City, Kan., Brittney Jo Windsor, Carrolton, Mo., Gracelynn Keck, Carrolton, Mo., and Daniel Clay Keck, Carrolton, Mo.; brother, Orrin (Barbara) Schaal, Avon Park, Fla.; and sister, Kathy Stewart, Missouri City, Texas; lifelong friends, Dea Richter (and family), Mary Lou Lehoczky and Carole Underwood. She was proceeded in death by her former husband and lifelong friend, Peter Moeller; and her parents, Mary and Wilbert Schaal.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m., Monday, Dec. 6, at Ferry Funeral Home. Due to COVID-19 the family asks that for the protection of those at high risk that masks be worn indoors during the service regardless of vaccine status.

Memorials may be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society with the funeral home serving as custodian.
