Bronaugh held its graduation ceremonies Saturday evening, May 7, with 11 seniors receiving their high school diplomas. Their class colors were gold and silver; the class flower was a white rose; and their class motto was, “The road to success is dotted with many tempting parking spaces," a quote attributed to Will Rogers.

Senior ShyAnn Somers started off the commencement exercises by welcoming all of the guests.

Guest speaker Michael Vena then spoke to the senior class, with the main subject of his speech being, “Focus on your hopes and dreams, and always be kind.”

Alicia Taylor got up and gave her salutatorian speech and next, Josie Banes gave her valedictorian speech. Banes' main point of her speech was, “How do you want to be remembered?”

Then, there was a senior class slide show along with a tribute show that the teachers and administration put together for the seniors. Banes, who is also the president of the senior class, presented the Senior Key to the president of the junior class. Superintendent Jordan Dickey and Principal Travis Wait presented the senior class.

Lastly, the graduates walked out to the song “Here I Go Again” by Whitesnake.

This year’s senior class sponsors were Jessica McGriff and Josey Martin.
