Vernon County Health Department to no longer provide weekly COVID-19 updates

The Vernon County Health Department announced on Friday that it would no longer be providing weekly COVID-19 updates.

"We will no longer be publishing a weekly COVID case update," stated the release. "The numbers for our community have been stable over the past months. We continue to monitor new case reports daily. If there is a noticeable increase in cases, we will update the community."

The department noted that individuals should stay home if they are sick, wash hands frequently, disinfect high touch surfaces frequently, cover coughs and sneezes, and wear a mask if they are unable to maintain social distance in group settings.

In addition, the department provided a link to the Centers for Disease Control's (CDC)COVID Data Tracker. County level data may still be obtained at www.covid.cdc.gov/covid-data-tracker.
