Crews remove trees from Earp Park Tuesday

Crews were busy removing trees Monday morning from Earp Park, on Austin Boulevard. The crews are preparing the park for remodeling planned by the Nevada Lions Club. The Nevada Lions Club has been raising funds for the project where they will be installing a new fountain, new benches, new lighting, new signage, and new concrete walkways. The club is remodeling the park in recognition of their centennial anniversary, which is Feb. 20, 2024. A ceremony is planned to be held on Feb. 24, 2024, to commemorate the completion of the project and the club's anniversary.
