Marla Olene Vaughn

Marla Olene Vaughn, 51, Nevada, Mo., passed away on Monday, Aug. 21, 2023, at the Nevada Regional Medical Center. Marla was born Nov. 24, 1971, in Nevada. She was married to Terry Vaughn and from this marriage their three children were born.

Marla was raised in Nevada and graduated from Nevada High School with the Class of 1989. She worked for Nevada R-5 Schools as a Para Professional and Bus Driver for over 15 years. Marla loved gardening, feeding her humming birds, and especially loved being a mother and grandmother. She was a great friend of many and will be missed greatly by all who loved her.

Survivors include her three children, Bodi Vaughn (Chloe Lawrence), Miranda Vaughn, and Trevor Vaughn, all of Nevada; two grandchildren, Grayson, and Mila; and her aunt, Sandy Hayes (Walter), Nevada, and their son, Ashley Hayes, St. Louis. She was preceded in death by her mother, Ginger McConnaughey.
