Planning Commission sends positive recommendation to city council for zoning change

The Nevada Planning Commission met in regular session Tuesday evening and started the meeting off with a public hearing on the proposed zoning change of the northwest corner of East Division Street and South Alma Street from an R-1 single family dwelling district to an RP-3 Planned Apartment House District for MVP builders LLC. The commission voted unanimously to send a positive recommendation to the city council. The commission also discussed the 5-Year Capital Improvement Plan (CIP); street repair list; and solid waste survey.
