Lula Faye Shaw

Lula Faye Shaw, 84, Bronaugh, Mo., passed away at her home on Thursday, Oct. 12, 2023. Lula was born March 20, 1939, in Sheldon, Mo., to Harry A. and Opal H. (Holland) Bogart.

Lula was raised in Sheldon and graduated from Bronaugh High School Class of 1957. She married Raydean Shaw and from this marriage two sons were born, David and Chris. Lula worked in healthcare throughout her life, mostly at Nevada Regional Medical Center. She enjoyed bowling, gardening, and mowing her yard. Lula is a member of the First Christian Church, and a former member of the O.E.S.

Survivors include two sons, David Shaw (Lisa), Milo, and Chris Shaw, Bronaugh; three grandchildren, Blake Shaw (Amanda), Nevada, Tyler Shaw (Whitney), Walker, and Jake Clark, Milo; four great-grandchildren, Caitlin, James, Grady, and Lila; a sister, Cary Houdeshell, Bronaugh; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Winford Bogart and Harry Bogart; and two sisters, Alta Wooldridge and Mary Bogart.

Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m., today, Oct. 17, at Sheldon Cemetery in Sheldon, Mo., with Pastor Roger Beach officiating. The family received friends from 5 to 7 p.m., Monday, at Ferry Funeral Home, in Nevada.

Memorials are suggested in her name to Gentiva Hospice in care of Ferry Funeral Home, Nevada, Mo.
