Tommy Joe O’Toole

Tommy Joe O’Toole, 76, passed away on Thursday, November 30, 2023 at his home near Moundville, MO. He was born December 10, 1946 to Elmer Lee and Ruby Faith (Reed) O’Toole.  

     Tom attended school in Moundville and graduated from Nevada High School with the Class of 1964. He attended Southwest Missouri State and then came home to run the family farm. Tom loved Ford Cars and John Deere Farm Equipment. He always kept go-karts and three wheelers to entertain the kids and Dad.

     Tom is survived by his brother, Patrick O’Toole (Bonna), Vincennes, IN; a nephew, Shane O’Toole (Alisha), Des Moines, IA; a niece, Shannon O’Toole, Washington, IN; three great-nephews, Conner O’Toole, Cash O’Toole, and JP (James Patrick), Des Moines, IA. Tom is also survived by two aunts, Iva Reed, Nevada, MO, and LaVon Fry, Arkansas.

     Tom belonged to the United Methodist Church of Moundville, MO. A memorial service will be held there at a later date. Following the service, Tom will be laid to rest next to his parents in Newton Burial Park in Nevada.
