Beatrice "Bea" Marie Malott Clark

Beatrice "Bea" Marie Malott Clark, 78, Nevada, Mo., died Monday, July 12, 2010, at Moore-Few Care Center in Nevada of complications from an extended illness. She was born April 28, 1932 in Kansas City, Mo., to Lon Edward Malott Sr. and Emma Beatrice Emmett Malott.

Bea worked in the nursing field most of her life, helping other people. She practiced the Catholic religion and enjoyed antiques and fine arts. She also was an avid animal lover and enjoyed spending time with her pets. Anyone who knew Bea Clark loved her great sense of humor and her genuine kindness. She will be loved and remembered forever.

Bea is survived by two sons, Robert McCrory and his wife Janet, Nevada, and Ralph McCrory, El Dorado Springs; one daughter Emma Conner and her husband Ronnie, Nevada: two granddaughters, Alisha and Alivia; one step-granddaughter, Candice Penker and her husband Dustin; two step-great-grandchildren, Kaylea and Tyler, all of Nevada; one brother, Lon E. Malott Jr. and his wife Janice, Independence, MO.

Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, July 15, at Deepwood Cemetery in Nevada.

Friends may call now and until 9 a.m. Thursday at Ferry Funeral Home in Nevada.

Memorial contribution may be made to the American Cancer Society in care of Ferry Funeral home, 301 S. Washington, Nevada.
