Glenn Allen Wooldridge, 75, formerly of Moundville, died on Tuesday, Feb. 16, 2010, at the Barone Alzeheimer Care Center, in Nevada following a lengthy illness. He was born on March 14, 1934, to Carl and Eva Hartzfeld Wooldridge. On Dec. 18, 1954, he was married to Alta M. Bogart and she survives of the home. Glenn grew up in Bronaugh and attended the Bronaugh School. Most of his life he spent as a carpenter and as a cement mason. Glenn worked a number of years for Joseph Pohl Construction in Nevada and later for Snyder Bridge in Joplin until his retirement.

Survivors in addition to his wife Alta, include two sons, Dale Wooldridge and his wife Connie, of Nevada, Daren Wooldridge and his wife Lori of Belton, Mo.; four grandchildren, Ryan Wooldridge, Nevada, Andrea Mogan, Nevada, Beth Wooldridge, Lamar, and Morgan Wooldridge, Nevada; three step-grandchildren, Curtis Campbell, Rachel Donovan, and Liberty Donovan; six great-grandchildren; one sister, Esther Nelson, Tulsa Okla.; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Gail Elaine Wooldridge; two brothers; and one sister.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., on Thursday, Feb. 18, at Ferry Funeral Home in Nevada. Interment will follow in the Sheldon Cemetery in Sheldon. Friends may call from now until the hour of service and the family will receive friends from 4-5 p.m., on Wednesday at the funeral home.
