In front of a large and raucous crowd of fans, players and parents, Nevada High School hosted its "Fired Up" pep rally and bonfire at the practice facility on the west end of Logan Field Wednesday night in preparation for tonight's district playoff contest against the Tigers of Warrensburg High School at Logan Field, highlighted by a performance by the Nevada Tiger Pride Marching band and an address from Tigers head coach Wes Beachler in which he thanked everyone involved with the Nevada High School football program, whether it be directly or indirectly. "I would really like to thank all the young men who play football for me here at Nevada," he said.

Nevada football manager Billy Evans and NHS athletic director Kevin McKinley opened Wednesday's pep rally, addressing and pumping up the crowd for tonight's playoff matchup.
