The Cottey College Comets added another win to their season record as they took on Baptist Bible College in another road game Tuesday night. Nine out of the 10 players on the Comets' roster got in on the scoring in the game, led by Alex Noble and Amanda Sanders with 16 points each. Jessica Roberts and Brittany Smith were both able to crack into double digits on the night as well, finishing out the contest with 15 and 11 points, respectively...

Hornets sneak past Montrose at home

The Hume Hornets started their season with a very close victory over Montrose Tuesday night. The Hornets didn't shoot well in the game, making just seven of 30 2-point field goals and 17 of 30 free throws, but six steals in the game and three players with double digit point totals -- Cody Franklin with 16, Ryan Austin with 14 and Cameron Hinton with 14 -- catapulted Hume to a 55-53 victory. The Hornets did have a good night from behind the arc, however, making eight 3-pointers in the game...
