Missouri got its fill of extreme weather in 2008, extension says

This has been one of the wettest years on record in Missouri, and there's still time for 2008 to break the record for most precipitation, said a University of Missouri Extension climatologist. Family of teen killed in Nov. 26 tragedy creates scholarships

The family of Emily Ann Debrine, a 15-year-old Nevada High School student killed in a traffic crash on U.S. 54 Highway, near Deerfield, on Nov. 26, is instituting two scholarships in her honor. He falsely states, "The Indians were exterminated, like vermin, by white pioneers .... many years earlier it (America) was stolen from the Native Americans."
