Herald-Tribune COLUMBUS, Kan. -- Fort Scott High School's softball team was swept by Columbus Thursday night in a Southeast Kansas League doubleheader by scores of 12-2 and 11-10. Columbus (5-9 SEK, 5-13 overall) only needed seven hits in the first-game victory as the Tigers (5-7, 5-11) committed 10 errors. In the second game, Columbus built a 7-2 lead after three innings but Fort Scott rallied to tie the score in the top of the seventh only to see the Titans prevail in the bottom of the inning...
