Kansas man dies in June 16 motorcycle crash near Sheldon

A 73-year-old Mary-ville, Kan., man was killed Thursday afternoon in a motorcycle crash on U.S. 71 Highway, 3 miles north of Sheldon. Weekend blaze guts home

The Nevada Fire Department responded to a fire at a home at 702 S. College St., in Nevada, on Saturday morning to find "heavy fire and smoke showing from the rear of the structure," according to a press release. No one was home at the time.
