A 29-year-old Nevada man faces charges of second degree assault, first degree burglary and resisting arrest in connection with a Feb. 17 home invasion in the 500 block of North Washington Street, Nevada. Meadow Lane sewer project to begin soon

The long-awaited extension of sanitary sewer lines to the Meadow Lane development in the extreme southeast part of Nevada is expected to begin later this spring. Woman hurt in Monday crash

A Walker, Mo., woman was injured in a single vehicle crash that occurred one mile south of Walker on Route C on Monday afternoon.
