The National Weather Service is urging people in this region to consider postponing outdoor burning projects for today. "Increasingly gusty south winds and low humidity will combine to produce an elevated danger for wildfires across the region today. Humidity values in the 20 to 30 percent range and wind gusts of 20 to 30 mph will produce the conditions for the rapid spread of outdoor natural cover fires should they escape control," the NWS said in a special weather statement issued today...
