Cindy Mahoney, (formerly Cindy Hampton), a 1982 graduate from Bronaugh High School has given a generous donation to the athletic department of Bronaugh School. A press release said Manhoney was involved in many things while she was a student at Bronaugh High School, and athletics was a strong suit for her, and she enjoys helping with youth programs; so Mahoney sent the $1,000 to support the athletics at Bronaugh schools...

Work to replace the Horse Creek bridge on Vernon County Highway B west of the Vernon/Cedar County line is scheduled to begin Monday, May 14, the Missouri Department of Transportation said.
